The owner of a beach-themed restaurant in California said he’s seen his fair share of dragons and even a dragon named Pompous, but he says it’s not as common as you might think.
The restaurant is located at the Villa Nova restaurant on the popular island of Palm Springs.
Chef Alex Hildebrand said he noticed a spike in dragons at the restaurant on Tuesday, but said the reason is simple: People are more than happy to eat the food.
“There are a lot of people that love eating the food that’s on the menu,” Hildebrand said.
“I just thought maybe they had a good night out, and they got a little too excited.”
Hildebrand has worked at Villa Nova since 2010, and said the restaurant is a great place to get together with friends.
“I’ve seen a few dragons, but not so many that I could really tell it was a dragon,” Hiltbrand explained.
“The first thing you notice is the color of their hair and the way they are dressed, and it’s very unique.”
Hiltbrad said he started to notice a trend among the guests who go to the restaurant, and he’s not sure if it’s because of the dragons or just the food they are eating.
“The only thing I can say about the dragons that I’ve seen is that they have a lot more of them,” Hildebreich said.
“People are very excited and it definitely makes people happy, but it’s definitely not the norm.
You know, people love their pets, they’re always happy, and I think it’s kind of a cool thing to do.”
